CHARITY : Request for Old Clothes

Dear Residents,
Our committee member May, is requesting for old clothes to be distributed to the Orang Asli folks in the Tanjung Malim area. This is a charity drive organized by her brother.
This is short notice but if you have any clothes (any age and size) that you would like to donate, please pack them up and send them to May at A-621 by Wednesday, 20th January. That's tomorrow ! She will send the clothes to her brother in the evening.

"The access card system is working perfectly and there are no more security guards at any block (they have all been removed). Your kids return from school and you have to go down to the lobby to let them in. When you have guests, you also have to go all the way down to the lobby to let them in. Visitors and guests cannot access because they have no access card. A few times a day, you will see an authorized guard doing their rounds, patrolling the blocks and clocking in at each floor."

| KUALA LUMPUR: MK Land Holdings Bhd targets to achieve 70% sales within six months before commencing construction of its newly-launched condominium project, One Damansara in Damansara Damai in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, says an official from the company. The project comprises 899 condo units spread over 8.76 acres with a gross development value (GDV) of RM220 million. One Damansara is scheduled for completion in 2014. The project was launched on Jan 9 and officiated by Fatimah Abd. Wahab, chief operating officer of MK Land Holdings. The development is undertaken by MK Land subsidiary Medan Prestasi Sdn Bhd. The leasehold One Damansara is located close to shops, eateries, schools, Jusco MaxValu, the shopping hub of 1Utama and The Curve, a bus terminal and the 48 acres forest reserve park, Urban Parks. It is easily accessible via several major highways including North-South Highway, Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and MRR2 Kepong-Kuala Lumpur. The commuter train station is a mere 1 km away. The development also features a 2-acre tropical garden with gazebo, offering a scenic view of lush greenery as well as full condo facilities.
